AI Agents Write the Code, Engineers Sign It Off: How Agentic Development Works
AI agents can draft architecture, code and tests. What they can't do is be accountable. How we split the work between agents and engineers, step by step.
By Bytize Team1 min read

Bytize is an AI agentic-driven software development company. Our engineers work alongside AI agents across design, code, testing and delivery. The point isn't to remove engineers. It's to let agents do the heavy lifting while an engineer stays accountable for everything that ships.
1. Scope the outcome
Every project starts with people, not prompts. We work with you to define the problem, the users and what done looks like. Agents are only as good as the goal they are given.
2. Agents build
AI agents draft the architecture, code and tests under the direction of our engineers. This is where most of the speed comes from: work that used to take days of typing becomes a first draft in hours.
3. Engineers review
Nothing ships without an engineer's approval. Every change is reviewed, tested and secured by an engineer before it is merged. This step is what makes the speed safe.
4. Ship and support
We deploy to your cloud — AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or DigitalOcean — monitor what we ship, and keep improving it with you. You own the code.
Where agents help most
- AI agents that plan, use your tools and data, and complete multi-step work, with your team in control of every approval
- Workflow automation that connects agents to the systems you already run
- SaaS, e-commerce and payment products, the same way we built our own PosBytz, PayBytz and e-invoicing platforms
